[A poem by Mani garu titled ‘It is what it is!’.]
I watch you passionately, every morning
when you rise in the sky, O Sun!,
With elegant grace
And unwithered shining,
Silently spinning the wheel of Time,
Scattering colourful shimmering rays across all around!
I earnestly ask you,
Are you the one holding all the mysteries of the Universe?
Will you unravel them to me?
I wait for your reply with hope and unwavering patience!
The days go by,
Weakening my patience and Shattering my hope!
While enduring the pain of desperation, I cried.
Tears drizzled from the sky with the flashes of lightening
And deafening thunder,
Leaving behind the intense silence!
A quiet penetrating voice has then spoken gently,
There is nothing to know about!
No mystery to unravel,
no secrets to reveal!
It is what it is!
The words resonated
Baffling all the complexities.
It is what it is!
It touched my heart,
Clearing my vision to see,
Expectations obscure the simplicity,
Presumptions weave the mysteries,
Secrets lie in the wilderness of thoughts,
It is what it is!
